Beal Counseling Associates is a private counseling and consulting practice established in 1990. The purpose of the group is to address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults. It’s mission is to provide the highest quality of comprehensive “holistic” services to our clients.
Beal Counseling Associates maintains an active roster of multi-ethnic associates, who can meet the needs of Harris County’s growing ethnically diverse population. This includes bilingual therapists addressing persons of Hispanic and Asian descent. Services provided include individual, family, and group psychotherapy, psychological testing, substance abuse counseling, urinalysis screening, psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and referral information. In addition, anger management/domestic violence workshops, seminars, lectures, consultations with heads start centers, school districts, non profit groups, businesses, and religious organizations are provided.
Beal Counseling Associates specializes in children, adolescent, and adult emotional and behavioral issues. Which includes a broad range of clinical experience treating individuals diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, conduct disorder, behavioral problems, childhood sexual abuse, sexual offenders, and drug and alcohol abuse. A mental health assessment and individual treatment plan is developed on every client to help address their personal concerns. The length of treatment varies from short term intervention to long term psychotherapy.
In addition, Beal Counseling Associates has developed an educational component to the practice. The primary focus is to provide training and continuing educational services to professionals. Dr. Beal is the founder of a conference on National Association of Counseling African American Families (NACAAF).
